Program Developer: Adjunct

Emergency Training Solutions, LLC is currently accepting applications for our program development staff. We are looking to contract with individuals with a specialty in any Fire, Rescue, Emergency Medical, or Hazardous Materials discipline.

In this capacity you will work with ETS staff on the development or revision of individual programs.

We are currently seeking individuals with expertise in the following areas:

  • Vehicle Extrication Operations
  • High/Medium/Low Pressure Airbags & Pnuematic Rescue
  • Building Construction
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Technical Rescue (Rope)
  • Technical Rescue (Excavation/Trench)

Future program development projects will require additional staff beyond what is listed above.  If you have a specialty and would like to contribute, or author a program, please submit your resume and project proposal for review.

Qualifications:

The desired candidates will be highly motivated and detail oriented.  Candidates must possess the ability to work independently with direction from the Program Development Director.  National Fire Protection Association (1401) Instructor Level 1 certification is required (Fire Service Instructor I).  Preference will be given to those applicants certified to NFPA Instructor Level 2 (Fire Service Instructor II) with program writing experience.

Part-Time Marketing Assistant: PowerPoint and Graphics

Emergency Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to assist with the creation and development of PowerPoint-based training programs to assist with a large project throughout the summer.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have attention to detail, and be able to meet deadlines. The candidate must have experience in the advanced functions of PowerPoint 2003 and 2007 and be able to incorporate graphics and video into the presentations. Experience creating graphics in Illustrator and editing photos in Photoshop is also a plus.

This is a part-time, temporary position, with potential for continued work on a contract basis in the future. The individual can work independently from home, but must be able to commute to a Harwinton, CT office for occasional meetings. Pay depends on qualifications.
